Dr. Robert Papp worked for nearly three decades as an operations officer and senior intelligence executive in the United States. He is currently a professor and director of the regional department of political science and international relations at Tecnologico de Monterrey and a corporate consultant.
He served in Europe, Central Eurasia, Africa and spent five years in Mexico as a diplomat. He was also Deputy Executive Director of the FBI’s National Security Branch, a negotiator and arms control inspector, and began his career in the U.S. Navy. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Columbia University, an M.A. in Russian Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. from the U.S. Naval Academy.
